No thanks to my wonderful friends, I got to enjoy a Lower Box Seat, sect 135 Row 9 all by my lonesome (click on the section to see just what you missed last night for $17). And at 50 cents more than half-off face value, oh what a bargain it was. Especially since giants tickets go for much more than face (these tickets will easily go for $80+ during a good season). Except when we suck. On a tuesday night.

Former Mariner Randy Winn in his San Francisco Giants debut was 1 for 4 with a strikeout, walk, run, single and two groundouts, including the game ending groundout with bases loaded and the go-ahead run in scoring posiion.

Also, almost made a spectacular sliding catch in SBC Park's expansive centerfield. Operative word, "almost". NL West second-to-last Giants lose the homestand opener to NL West dead-last Rockies.
