Well, I suppose the entire Little Brain LIbEral community doesn't consider the SHoP to be their consistency watchdog. We're only at around 70 hits/day. Short of scientific experimentation, I wouldn't be surprised at all to find that your average Bay Aryan's progressive philosophy took a shit on itself 70 times a day. This is a shame. If more LIbEralS read this site, i'm sure at least a couple would take my pity into consideration and would try to be more effective democruds... well, I can dream, can't I?
And still, my motives for bettering the stupider half of America are selfish. I want people smart enough to put up somewhat of a fight to our conservatism. Just to keep me and my ilk sharp.
AND THIS ISN'T HELPING!!! The more astute SHoPpers among us will already have spotted the inconsistency in Gloria Steinem's position...
Perhaps Feminazis like Gloria should stick to what they know best: repudiating femininity and proliferating abortion. Holy Crap in a Pita, what kind of self-respecting feminist stands up for men who want to see all women, in all countries as a man's property from birth to death? What kind of feminist stands up for men who support state sanctioned wife-beating? What kind of feminist stands up for a culture where women aren't even allowed to go to school-- never mind the exclusion from the democratic process?
excerpt from Gloria Steinem protests U.S. camp at Guantánamo Feminist author Gloria Steinem on Monday joined about 200 protesters in New York to demand the closure of the U.S. detention camp at Guantánamo Bay, saying holding prisoners indefinitely without charging them violates the values upon which the United States was founded. Steinem compared Guantánamo to the kind of autocratic rule early colonists were trying to flee. "They came to escape the very things -- detention without due process, bias, a religious government... that we protest today," Steinem said.
A Blue Diamond Almonds can of consistency a week. That's all we ask.
