On behalf of the SHoP's Ministry of Baseball, I'd like to invite marknicodemo.mu.nu to participate in a friendly baseball bet!

I bet my beloved SF Giants (42-55) will embarass themselves against your Chicago Cubs (50-48)! Any takers? Yeah, didn't think so.

And wow, a quick check on the standings reveal that the cubs, at two games above .500 are a half game better than the NL West leading Padres (50-49). At 12 games behind first, the cubs are still better than an entire division. wonderful.
