Okay, what don't you understand about the word 'debt'?

Gov. Schwarzenegger has a problem, and it's California's millions of liberals.

It's completely amazing to me how the teachers and nurses unions have been painting Arnold these past couple months. According to them, he's done everything from 'stealing 2 billion dollars he promised to return to the schools' to 'wasting money on a special election that could be used for education and hospital care'. Just like how the public education system in California has really proven itself as top-notch. And the $10 billion spent on health care for illegal immigrants? Yup. Great investment. I'm more than happy to spend my hard-earned taxpayer dollar to people who aren't supposed to be here. $10 billion can buy a lot of damn books, too.

These teachers and nurses are suffering from a case of "can't see the plank in their own eye to clearly see the speck in another's". Sure, the solution Gov. Schwarzenegger has isn't perfect. A solution/compromise rarely is, especially in a screwed up state such as this one. But, alas, do the opponents of the plan have a better idea put forward? You're damn right they don't. They just argue for argument's sake.

I'd really like to see more stories like this covered in the news so I can learn more about things that affect me; but instead, some drunk girl who is dead in Aruba keeps making the headlines. Not to mention the freak-of-nature who was acquitted of child molestation. 24-hour news has really pissed me off over the past month.
