The LibeRant at the beginning of the following Labor Day chat is, if nothing else, original. Granted, it's delusional to the point of originality, but eh means to an end, I suppose. And really, I suppose there is some truth to it. I've mentioned before that I vote Red, but probably prefer living in Blue America. Not so I can be the token contrarian, no, but if only because of the urban life that Blue America affords. This is not to say that I'd be any less Republican if i weren't living in the SF Bay Area, but I'd probably be less than enthused about living away from a bustling city.
So apparently we-- and i'm speaking to us Republicans based in the blue State frontiers-- are not simply in a conspiracy with the media and big oil and big power and big whatever else the fuck there is out there. It appears as if we're ensconced in a Blue State conspiracy, in which I actually got you Little Brain Red State Republicans to do my bidding by voting for George Bush. I like the latter scenario better, if only because it paints me and my ilk as diabolical masterminds.
